Project Details

This necklace was designed using the Mohawk Unity Flag as inspiration. The customer asked us to make custom designed diamond necklaces for each of his 7 children. He and his family are Native American and take great pride in their heritage, the Rokstok designers were determined to capture the essence of their pride when making these necklaces. We used Computer Aided Design software to scan a picture of the flag and then we married the symbol of the Mohawk into the names of each of his children.

This type of custom designed necklace can\'t be made by hand, one reason is because the letters won't look as precise as the letters produced using our CNC machine. Basically, we create the design in CAD and then send the file to a prototyping machine to cut out a wax model. The model is then put in a flask and a mold is made for casting purposes. Once the necklace is cast in the appropriate precious metal, in this case it was 14k white gold, we then polish it and set the diamonds.
